Institute for Responsible Wellness (IRW) is a non-profit public charity organization, listed under section 501(c)(3). IRW is dedicated to making a difference in education of responsible wellness & nutrition for the under-privileged children and adults in your community by screening / assessing health risk factors for potential obesity, health disease and diabetes.
Kris is the Treasurer and Secretary of Institute for Responsible Wellness. As an advisor to IRW, Kris has provided 30 years of her services to the public school system. First as a volunteer in a local elementary school then maintaining a position as a school principal secretary. As a school secretary she was responsible for many aspects of the school operation. Volunteering and working with children and their parents was the most rewarding undertaking of her career. Kris has volunteered for many community and civic organizations over the last 35 years. Kris exhibits an outstanding adult/child connection skill and a very unique understanding of the needs of children.

Steve began his career in 1968 with a start-up service company based in Ohio. During the year of 1974 Steve and his wife Kris, moved to the Dallas area and developed a service business into a multi-million dollar business. During those years as V.P. of regional operations he was responsible for over 450 employees and a fleet of service trucks that numbered in the hundreds. He also established field training programs, prepared budgets, approved new equipment purchases and developed new areas for market expansion. In 1986, Steve established a wellness screening company, providing services to many venues. Steve is the founder and Executive Director of Institute for Responsible Wellness.
